My son spent a whole afternoon designing his tote with the included fabric markers, and the end result looked way cooler than any store-bought bag.
The kit actually comes with everything, which I appreciated since I didn't have to run out for extra markers or glue. My son decorated his tote in about twenty minutes and carried it trick-or-treating all night without the design peeling off.
My daughter spent a solid hour decorating her tote with the markers and stickers before we even left the house. By Halloween night it was covered in bats and pumpkins, and she refused to use any other bag.
